The Suzhou Jinji Lake Dragon Team participated in the dragon boat race held in New Taipei City, Taiwan on Sept 23. The event brought together 11 teams from the host city, Taibei, Shanghai, Nanjing and Suzhou.

Amidst the powerful beats of drums and waves of cheering, the teams moved in perfect sync toward the finish line. After three rounds of rivalries, the teams from Nanjing, New Taipei City and Taipei took the top three places. The Suzhou Jinji Lake Dragon Team garnered the Special Invitation Award.

The Suzhou Jinji Lake Dragon Team, composed of 25 members, was formed in May by Soochow Securities and ORIZA Holdings. The members of the team had trained four months in order to ensure the best performance in the race.
