The final of the 2025 Jinji Lake Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is set to kick off in SIP on Nov 13, when 20 scientific and technological innovation projects from home and abroad will partake in a fierce competition.

The Jinji Lake Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is held in SIP and other places at home and abroad each year since 2012 to help discover promising startups and teams in strategic emerging industries such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing and new materials. So far, 172 projects from the finals of the previous sessions have raised funds totaling RMB20 billion.

Zhu Xiaohu, managing partner at GSR Ventures, and Yang Dajun, chairman and CEO of Ascentage Pharma, will jointly lead the jury panel composed of partners of famous investment organizations and industrial experts.

Among the projects are those focusing on artificial intelligence, photonics and integrated circuits, life science and healthcare, future energy, materials and equipment, including several featuring world-leading technological breakthroughs.
