The 2024 Suzhou Entrepreneurship Week for International Elites ? SIP opened in SIP on July 11.

The Suzhou Entrepreneurship Week for International Elites is held in the city of Suzhou in East China’s Jiangsu province on a yearly basis as a platform for congregation and integration of global high-quality innovation and venture resources as well as high-caliber talents. It has helped attract a large number of talents and their projects to Suzhou, including many that have settled down in SIP.

At the opening ceremony, the list of SIP’s Top 100 Enterprises in Introducing and Cultivating Talents were unveiled. The enterprises were selected from 180,000 businesses in SIP on the basis of 20 indicators.

The Suzhou Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Research Center was inaugurated. It focuses on research of AI-related generic technology and commercialization of the research outcomes.

A mini program was launched on line to provide all-around services for talents in SIP.

The Talent Introduction Loan (Yin Cai Dai) and One Yuan Loan (Yi Yuan Dai), which SIP provides in collaboration with the Bank of Suzhou and Changshu Rural Commercial Bank, were unveiled to give enterprises and talents a helping hand in financing. The first borrowers signed agreements with the lenders.

Concurrently, the list of 19 demands from SIP for technologies that play a core role in biomedicine, electronic information, high-end equipment and other sectors was released on the official website of Shanghai Technology Exchange.

Nine experts including representatives of professional associations, management of multinationals, leaders of academic organizations and partners of financing and investment organizations were appointed “SIP Ambassadors for Global Talent Introduction”.

In addition, over 2,200 enterprises in SIP provided more than 20,000 job vacancies.

The exhibition themed “Global Talents Gather to Build a First-Class Industrial Park” opened, showcasing SIP’s demand for talents and what it can offer to them.
