Sungent, a multi-business conglomerate in SIP, received the construction permit for building an intelligent manufacturing park in SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone on Sept 22, only six days after it signed the land use contract.

The project, positioned as a benchmark complex integrating R&D, production and services, is expected to become an iconic industrial project at the “east gateway” of SIP. Emphasis will be laid on creating a digital and intelligent manufacturing ecosystem for companies engaged in high-end equipment, aerospace, new-generation information technology and new energy.

The project will cover a land area of about 153 mu (10.2 hectares), and its total floor area will reach about 103,000 square meters. The first phase will boast a land area of about 41 mu (2.73 hectares) and a floor area of 27,800 square meters.
