The second concert under the “Autumn Night in SIP” performing program was given on the right bank of Jinji Lake on Sept 27. Fourteen classic songs, featuring both the sophisticated arrangements of professional bands and sincere expression of amateur singers, were staged, attracting lots of people.

It is learned that about 30 people had applied for participation in the “Autumn Night in SIP” shows that are scheduled to last till November, and four gained the opportunity of joining the second show.

Zhou Yu, a corporate client manager at the Suzhou branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, has lived and worked in Suzhou for over a decade. He performed three solos of varied styles and shared the stage with the expatriates from Ireland and Tunisia in performing “The Moon Represents My Heart”, a well-known song in China.

“Having a free concert right in our neighborhood truly brings art into our daily lives,” said Mr. Wang, who attended with his child, expressing his appreciation for this cultural experience.
